At Heritage Tree Care in Essex, Vermont, we care deeply about trees and providing our clients with top quality, customized service.
Heritage was founded in 2005 by Beth Fuehrer and Patrick Grant, both ISA certified arborists with a shared passion for tree care and health. In 2018, Beth moved on to pursue new projects and Patrick became sole manager and owner of the company, carrying on with its mission of providing customers with top-notch tree care service.

Patrick Grant - Owner & Certified Arborist - NE6759A
Patrick was born and raised in Somerset, England. He studied agriculture at Somerset College of Technology, and worked in dairy farming until his wanderlust and passion for sailing led him to become a professional crewman and captain. He eventually sailed his way to North America, settling just outside of Montreal, where he worked as a machine technician for many years. His sailing and mechanical skills have transferred well to tree work.
Jonathan Rowe - Certified Plant Health Care Specialist & Arborist Technician
Jonathan is originally from Quechee, Vermont and moved to the Burlington area in 2017. He has always loved nature and likes to spend a lot of time outdoors. Jonathan's work with trees began at the age of 23, when he took a job as a logger. From there his interest grew into forestry, biology and land management, leading him to becoming a part of the Heritage team. Jonathan enjoys many aspects of his work, especially plant health care. He is currently studying to become a certified arborist. When he's not on the job, Jonathan is very active and participates in CrossFit competitions, triathlons and cycling.
Tammy Hinchey - Office Manager
Tammy was born and raised in Jericho, Vermont and now calls Colchester home. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Trinity College and has come to find a passion for small business. Over the years she has assisted several local, family-owned companies with logistics, growth, organization and people management. She joined the Heritage Team in the spring of 2015 and coordinates bookkeeping, logistical support, and customer reception. Tammy has a great love of the outdoors and a passion for always learning new things. In her free time you may find her with her two children, working in her yard, or with her yellow lab out on the trails.
